Not Copping Out

Since my last "Recent in Review," I have filled out federal, Louisiana State, New York State and New York City tax returns to claim a sizable amount of refunds; completed, defended and given a talk on a 50-page thesis entitled "The Creation of Wealth for Company Stakeholders through Managerial Behavior in Leveraged Buyouts"; accepted enrollment at and sat in on classes at Paul M. Hebert Law Center, LSU (commencing classes in August); enjoyed writing fairly engaging papers (20 pages worth) about the Roman Republic; staffed a pro-life conference for Louisiana high school students (entitled Louisiana Camp Joshua...!); went to Mulate's for Amanda's birthday and went cajun dancing; rocked out at my third-ever Switchfoot concert at House of Blues New Orleans; beheld bucking broncos at Rodeo Houston in Texas; located a new apartment at Bienville Towers for Amanda and I; had little success finding a employer in my major willing to hire me since I cannot work past August due to law school; played Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Nintendo Wii for the first time at Cody's birthday party; played a season of intramural soccer on the Roflcopters soccer team; visited my parents and parents-in-law whenver possible; and watched the faithful hand of God provide for my wife and I time and time again.

The Doctor Said...

...we need some staples for his head! Name that song. An old Relient K one. The answer is more obvious than you might think.

Incidentally, that has absoutely nothing to do with anything, much less this blog.

Yes this blog still exists. And so do I.

There are several possible explanations for why I have blogged less and less as time goes on and on:

  • Monotonous lifestyle with nothing to write about
Analysis: Not so credible. Life as a freshman was less monotonous than now? When I was a goofball barely studying yet still making a 4.0, life was more complex? Not so much.
  • Too busy
Analysis: Pfft. Yeah, I may be studying harder and more involved with other activities than when I started this weblog. But we make time for the things we want to do.
  • Married
Analysis: I plead the fifth. Wait...yes, of course I am too busy spending quality time with my wife to blog! Amanda, do you still read this thing any more?
  • Having lost the tendency to think deeply
    Analysis: Huh? Quit playing.
  • Having lost the desire to communicate deep thinkings (...thoughts?)
Analysis: Oh, a grave and injurious assumption, this! Ho, to arms brethren, defend the cause! Hoist the standards! The time for magnanimity doth not rear its head! Whoever hath thus spoken shall be requited! With such hasty answer as hath been given, such hasty rebuke shall be issued!

Okay, okay. So I haven't been blogging because I've been too busy spinning webs around Baton Rouge and bouting with Doc Oc.
